Antisemitism and hate movements after Trump
On March 15th, Amar Amarasingam moderated an important discussion entitled “Antisemitism and hate movements after Trump,” sponsored by the Jewish Studies Program and the School of Religion at Queens University. The event followed a marked rise in Antisemitic attacks and hate crimes during the Trump administration and a surge in hate crimes overall by nearly 20% during the Trump administration according to the FBI. Panelists included Oren Segal (ADL), Brad Galloway (Life After Hate), Chuck Leek (former new-Nazi), and Shannon Martinez (Polarisation and Extremism Research & Innovation Lab).
